The Cliff
The Sentosa Resort
& Spa
|
Dining
at The Cliff is best described as a sensory
treat. The combination of a beautiful sunset
view and the sound of crashing waves, while
pampering your palate with the freshest
seafood does not come by everyday. The restaurant’s
interior, decked with an amalgam of glass,
light, stone and water, bringing the word
‘Zen’ to a whole new level.
But it’s really the central kitchen
that steals the show. Like a theatre, the
central show kitchen entertains its diners
with the chefs as main cast. The predominately
seafood menu is prepared under the supervision
of chef de cuisine, Shawn Armstrong.
The char-grill items on the menu are perfect
for those who like the idea of teasing their
appetites with sizzling seafood on a nearby
grill. |

Duo
|
Tucked
in a restored three-storey corner shophouse
in Club Street, Duo features a lounge on
the ground floor followed by two levels
of snazzy dining space. The earthy hues
and custom designed furnishings make the
setting good for all occasions. The innovative
a la carte menu, crafted by chef
de cuisine, Francois Mermilliod, melds
French cooking with the freshest of produce.
The food is light yet packed with flavour
– clearly inspired by the wide gamut
of seasonal ingredients from France and
locally. The wine list is predominantly
French with a fair bit of New World wines
and also boasts a house bubbly,’ Champagne
Duo’, from French winemaker, Champagne
Philippe Gonet & Fils. |
