“A slow comfortable Stew”
- Koh Yuen Lin & Chew Hui Chin

Wine & Dine (Singapore)

Koh Yuen Lin has been with Wine & Dine, Singapore, for about three years now. She claims to be one of lesser ambitions and is content with where she stands currently, just as long as she does not have to pick her favourite restaurants when asked and that she does not embarrass her publication by asking silly questions at events.

Chew Hui Chin relishes eating at the dingy alley hawker stall, just as much as fine dining cuisine can be a treat. Passion for one’s craft would emanate through and she hopes readers can literally smell the aromas of food oozing from her work. She is blissfully doing freelance writing and foodstyling.

Finalists for 2005

Flavours (Malaysia)

Journalist of Flavours, Malaysia, Sharon Tan is one who has an apt weakness – food. One who loves to eat and cook Asian food, Tan has great ambitions; such as to one day write a book on the dishes of the yesteryear - of food that her grandmother’s generation used to enjoy.
