Lee Kum Kee
Lee Man Tat was born in Macau in 1929. He is a native of Xinhui in Jiangmen City of Guangdong in China. He married Choi May Ling in 1954, and has one daughter and four sons, who are all serving in the Lee Kum Kee Group.

Lee took over the reins of Lee Kum Kee in 1972 and is a leader with impeccable business acumen, foresight, incisive mind-set, extraordinary courage, charisma and an innovative mind. Under his leadership together with the mission of promoting Chinese cuisines worldwide, the company has diversified its products and operations, effectively expanding its portfolio beyond Hong Kong and to the international arena. Today, Lee Kum Kee produces over 200 sauces and condiments, which are marketed to more than 100 countries and regions. The company has also become a world-renowned ethnic Chinese enterprise that stands for quality and trust among consumers. In 1992, Lee has also expanded to Chinese herbal health products via LKK Health Products Group with the mission of advocating the premium Chinese health regimen with “Infinitus” as its core brand. 

Lee’s notable achievements would include China Charity Award 2008 – Most Caring Charity Individual Award by the Ministry of Civil Affairs of the People’s Republic of China (PRC), Industrialist of the Year Award by the Federation of Hong Kong Industries, Bronze Bauhinia Star Award by the Government of Hong Kong Special Administrative Region, Lifetime Achievement Award by the China Condiment Industrial Association at the Association’s 15th anniversary celebration in 2010. He also serves as an Honorary Chairman of the Chinese People’s Political Consultative Committee of Xinhui, Jiangmen City, Guangdong province in the PRC.
