World Gourmet Awards 2021 - Gourmet Retailer of the Year Scoop Wholefoods Given the growing global movement towards organic food and wholefoods, Scoop Wholefoods Australia was founded on the belief that good food should be a right, not a luxury. Scoop Wholefoods sources the vast majority of its grains, nuts, teas, chocolates and natural products direct from Australian farmers with small-batch producers, then sells them loose in bulk bins. Being unpackaged, you can buy as much or as little as anything you like – even a mere 20 grams. It cuts down on wastage, saves time in the kitchen and reaches your pantry sooner and fresher. All our stores stock over 2,500 products, of which around 80% are certified Australian organic and environmentally responsible. Singaporeans are eco-conscious, health conscious and ready for a new style of grocery shopping which Scoop Wholefoods has to offer. Since the launch of our first store in Singapore in May 2019, which is a collaboration between Singapore’s retail powerhouse Gill Capital and the Australian franchisor, the response by the local community has been incredibly positive, allowing us to expand to 9 stores by the end of 2021.
