Upon graduation, Vino struggled to find a job and ended up working full-time at Bacchanalia under the charge of Chef Ivan Brehm, where he was inspired to become a specialist in a field of his choosing and to blaze a trail of his own. His interest in wine was first sparked by a turn as a barista at Chye Seng Huat Hardware, where his passion for wines roused and led him to pursuing a Level 4 Diploma in Wine and Spirits, completed in 2020. Highlights of his career include his stint as the sommelier at Odette, helmed by Chef Julien Royer. This opportunity allowed him to build relationships with obscure wine estates producing exceptional wines deserving of attention, resulting in the creation of a list that was producer-focused and current.
