Anthony started his career in the F&B industry at the Hyatt Singapore as Corporate Management Trainee in 1984 and rose to become Assistant Director of F&B before relocating to open Grand Hyatt Taipei in 1989, and ending his hotel career as F&B Executive Assistant Manager at Hyatt Aryaduta Jakarta in 1990. His F&B journey began with a humble joint - Hot Stones Steak and Seafood Restaurant, which prompted him to open two more concepts within a span of three years, this propelled him to establish the holding company - Creative Eateries.
Today, Anthony has created 17 different restaurant concepts and 2 catering arms in Singapore, Malaysia and Philippines. Creative Eateries now manages 4 restaurant divisions that includes Western, Thai, Japanese and Chinese concepts that spread over 44 outlets and an extensive catering arm. Known for its ability to create innovative new concepts, Creative Eateries is able to stay relevant to the ever changing consumer demand.
Anthony is also a founding member of Crossings Café, an initiative started among 12 Catholic individuals that aim to provide employment in a restaurant environment for the socially marginalised individuals. As the president of the Catholic Business Network (CBN), a non-profit organisation, he brings together Catholic business owners and working professionals with an objective to inculcate Catholic values and ethics in the workforce and the community. Former committee member of the Restaurant Association of Singapore (RAS), he helped raised the culinary profile within the island state and was Member of SAFRA Board of Governors, carving a new channel for him to give back to the community
