Filipino born Michael Mendoza is Sofitel Singapore City Centre’s resident mixologist and head barrel-aged cocktail maker. The affable and award-winning cocktail connoisseur is a specialist in creating over a hundred varieties of the finest concoctions and is adept to mixing up new flavours with ease. He uses a wide array of herbs, spices, fruits and a mélange of flavours to come up with his own signature creations.

1864 transforms at sundown into a chic cocktail lounge. Sample vodkas infused with fruit and herbs or cocktails infused with TWG tea. Our mixologists have also prepared a number of barrel-agedcocktails as well as Nespresso-infused signatures and a variety of TWG Tea so you can experience the mellowing of flavours and distinct character that come with patience and creativity. You can also celebrate your time in the lion city in true French style with a Champagne ritual, complete with sabrage.
