Description
Yvette joined the F&B industry at 19 in a bistro called CM-PB and had the opportunity to grow and be part of the opening team of The Coast Settlement and Symmetry Café, learning both local cuisine and basic French techniques. Yvette started as a Chef De Partie in Burnt Ends (2015) and has risen to be a Senior Sous Chef today. At Burnt Ends, she has received opportunities to cook with acclaimed chefs such as Bo and Dylan from Bolan, Andy Ricker from Pok Pok and Will Goldfarb from Room4Dessert, and participated in the 12 days of Christmas organized by Restaurant Meadowood (2018). In 2016, Yvette took a break from Burnt Ends to run a small pop up, Little Husband, in Duxton Hill focusing on Asian street food where her experience taught her how to run and organise an establishment.
