The World Gourmet Series (WGS) Awards Of Excellence (AOE) returns on its 14th edition to recognise and honour the food and beverage (F&B) as well as the hospitality industries' movers and shakers, and exceptional professionals.

Each year, AOE honours outstanding accomplishments and exemplary individuals who make a mark in the industry. This prestigious award-giving body strives for the highest degree of excellence in F&B and hospitality industries, and in doing so, has raised the level and quality of culinary experience to new heights. 

Lauded as the only national accolade recognising the excellence of F&B professionals and establishments in Singapore and in the region, the WGS Awards Of Excellence has scaled over the years from its initial 13 awards to its current 28 recognitions. 

A La Carte Productions, a division of Peter Knipp Holdings Pte Ltd, in partnership with the Singapore Tourism Board (STB), and its esteemed partners, officially open the voting and nominations for the Awards Of Excellence 2014. 

Voting and Nominations

The first round of public voting and nominations start on 18 Sept until 15 Nov 2013. The second round kicks off on 16 Dec until 27 Dec 2013, and the final round of voting by jurors runs from 11-13 Feb 2014.

Awarding Ceremony
The awardees will be announced on 5 April 2014, in conjunction with the conclusion of the World Gourmet Summit 2014.

Awards Of Excellence Hall Of Fame
Introduced in 2009 to applaud the continuing efforts of industry players who consistently shine and stand out in the Singapore culinary scene, the Hall Of Fame honours F&B individuals and establishments that have received the award at least three times in the same category. Once inducted, they are no longer eligible for nomination in the same category for the subsequent years, but will always be cemented as an Awards Of Excellence Hall Of Famer.
