Knowing Sergio's kitchen is the toughest in Europe didn't stop me from going there. Honestly, I really did enjoy the challenge of enduring all the pain from every part of my body – from backaches, strained calves, heel pains, stick shoulders & neck, to burned fingers! The saying goes, "No pain, no gain" right? The Jane is rated as one of Europe's toughest kitchen, "Are you in for the challenge? ".

At The Jane, Food is their religion. Which is why the kitchen at The Jane is located on the altar. Chef Nick Bril, Herman’s former right hand man at restaurant Oud Sluis in Sluis in Zeeland, is responsible for the day-to-day running of the restaurant and decides on the tasty menu together with Sergio.
The Jane is a gastronomic restaurant which is located on the ground floor and all the tables can see the open kitchen.
