s our food & beverage (F&B) industry continues to
evolve, it is important to recognise the talents that
contribute towards the gastronomy scene. This year,
Athe Awards of Excellence has been renamed to the
World Gourmet Awards, and continues to recognize the
remarkable flair that the F&B industry has to offer. A MESSAGE FROM THE FOUNDER
The World Gourmet Awards is celebrating 19 years of thriving
talents and unnerving passion. Looking back on these 19
years, there are many ardent individuals who have made
contributions to the F&B industry through their unique skillsets,
each bringing a new perspective to the table. There are also
many dedicated partners who have endlessly supported these
talents and shown their appreciation for the strides made in
this industry.
With the 23 edition of the World Gourmet Summit’s theme

being sustainability, we hope to inspire these aspiring
individuals about the importance of sustainable practices and
the effect it will have on the future. As the new generation
continues to thrive, we must still remember the things we do
today shapes the world we live in tomorrow.
The industry will continue to flourish and I am hopeful that
the contributions made by these individuals will carry on
the evolution of the F&B landscape regionally and on an
international level.
