Chef Tony Khoo is a proud Singaporean chef whose tale of
success is based on sheer hard work. With a career that started
out at age 16, Chef Khoo has more than 40 years of experience
and has garnered many milestones. He has steered the pre-
opening of various 5-star hotels worldwide, which includes
Kempinski Hotel in Dalian, China. Currently Chef Khoo serves
as the Corporate Executive Chef at Pan Pacific Hotel Groups.
Outside of his work as a chef, Chef Khoo has also spent a large
part of his life representing Singapore, as part of the Singapore
National Culinary Team, in international competitions, playing a part
in building the stellar reputation. He also played an instrumental role
as Competitions Coach as part of the Singapore Chefs’ Association
committee, grooming future generations of competition chef.
Today, he is honoured with the title of Competitions Mentor
and spends his time judging in international competitions.
Passionate about humanitarian efforts, Chef Khoo is focused on his
role as the ‘World Chefs Without Borders Committee’ (WCWB), a non-
profit organization global humanitarian aid initiative by Worldchefs.
He is also an accredited Worldchefs judge and he has penned
cookbooks. This includes ‘The Singapore Heritage Cookbook’,
which chronicles past, present and future iconic Singapore dishes.
