Caterer of the Year
This award seeks to recognise a catering team with the most creative and impressive banquet set-up in Singapore. The nominee must also exhibit excellent service standards that meets the requirements of their guests. The nominee must have been in operation for at least TWO years (from the point of nomination). The nominated caterers may be from hotels, restaurants or event catering companies.
Evaluation criteria:
- Decor: The nominee uses creativity and colour co-ordination to beautify the environment and satisfy the client.
- Food quality: The nominee is able to create a menu according to the client’s wishes. The dishes consist of fresh ingredients and using the best techniques, have a unique and distinct flavour.
- Attention to detail: The nominee pays close attention to the client’s needs and ensures that all aspects of the event – from the food quality, to the décor and table settings meet the client’s standards.
- Customer relations: The nominee displays good interpersonal skills and develops a rapport with their client.
- Event execution: The nominee demonstrates an ability to work within given the timeline and following a given event order. This include arrival, pre-event set up, event execution and teardown time.
* AOE2017 Award Recipient will not be eligible for this award in AOE2018.
