About Scholarships
Established in 2002, the Awards of Excellence Scholarships provide deserving young and budding talents who possess the ability to grow in the fields of pâtisserie, culinary arts and wine, a chance of a lifetime to gain exposure overseas.
Organised by Peter Knipp Holdings and supported by the Singapore Tourism Board, the Scholarships have nurtured individuals who are successful and noteworthy members of today´s food and beverage industry.
Administrated by Temasek Polytechnic and The Tourism Academy @ Sentosa, the applications for scholarships have started and will end 15 December 2008. All applicants who meet the application requirements are required to undertake a written assessment. The top five candidates of each scholarship will be short-listed to undergo a practical assessment, followed by an interview session by industry experts.
The results will be revealed at the WGS Awards Reception on 25 April 2009. The scholarships recipients will have the opportunity to attend bond-free courses or partake in apprenticeships at renowned establishments, with fully subsidised return air-tickets and accommodation.

- Bodegas Torres Wine Scholarship
- Pierre Hermé Paris Scholarship
- Paul Jaboulet Ainé & Château La Lagune Scholarship
