ITE COLLEGE WEST (Electrolux Culinary Institution of the Year)
The ITE College West is one of a couple of establishments that has recently moved into a new facility and is poised make a strong bid for the Awards of Excellence 2011’s Electrolux Culinary Institution of the Year. Their new campus, located in Choa Chu Kang, has 4 fully-equipped restaurants, 5 purpose-built kitchens including a pastry kitchen, a coffee barista training centre, a wine cellar, even a 22 room hotel which is fully furnished and complete with a Visitor Reception Centre! The institution aims to provide students with a unique and authentic learning experience beyond the regular classroom.
Taylor College (Electrolux Culinary Institution of the Year)
Established in 1986, Taylor’s School of Hospitality, Tourism & Culinary Arts (TCHT) was the first private institution in Malaysia dedicated to hospitality management. At-sunrice (Electrolux Culinary Institution of the Year)
Conceptualized in 1999 by founder Mrs Kwan Lui, the At-Sunrice GlobalChef Academy officially opend its door in 2001 with the aim of being a pioneering Asian Culinary Academy. By 2004, At-Sunrice expanded its vision to embrace both Asian and Western cuisines. Today, the academy is recognized by the Singapore Workforce Development Agency as a National CET Institute administering nationally recognized diplomas. This is all achievable because of the no compromise for excellence mentality shared by the whole academy. With a new integrated campus equipped with state-of-the-art facilities, At-Sunrice is poised to deliver first class training to our next generations of culinary talents.
Le Cordon Bleu Dusit Culinary Academy (Electrolux Culinary Institution of the Year)
Dusit and Le Cordon Bleu has come into partnership to establish an Academy of World Cuisines located next to Dusit Thani, Bangkok hotel, and the introduction of an international Bachelor's of Business Administration in Kitchen and Restaurant Management program at the Dusit Thani College on Srinakarin Road. A new internationally accredited Bachelor's Degree program and other Culinary Arts courses will also be offered at the Dusit Thani College, and therefore marking another major innovation in these areas, Training adheres to world standards and will be conducted in the most advanced culinary facilities equipped with the latest kitchen technology and design made available at the Academy and the College.
