Wine List of the Year

This award is presented to a restaurant featuring a wine list that offers a range of the best wines for its customers. The nominee must be from a Singapore-based organisation, or a franchise/branch that is located in Singapore at the time of nomination.

Les Amis
On Les Amis's astounding wine list of 1,000 French and New World labels are legendary wines, like the 1947 Chateau Cheval Blanc and Domaine Leflaive Le Montrachet, which set out to stun even the most discerning connoisseurs. Known as the haven for wine connoisseurs, Les Amis takes pride in owning one the world's most extensive wine lists. The restaurant's dedication to tailor their exquisite wines to elegant palates has brought it far through the years, having been awarded 'The Grand Award' by Wine Spectator magazine six times, as well as winning the 'Best Wine List Award' at the WGS Awards of Excellence for two consecutive years (2001 and 2002). Their enduring dedication towards hospitality excellence has gained Les Amis a third nomination in this category.

8 On The Bay
Taste the wonders of 8 on the Bay's wine list, encompassing over 1,800 labels, in its three-storey contemporary glass and steel ensemble. 8 on the Bay's extraordinary wine tower presents itself as a picturesque spot for wine connoisseurs to enjoy their wines and the panoramic view. The restaurant's spectacular array of wines includes highly sought vertical vintages of Henschke Hill of Grace and Penfolds Grange Hermitage. It is for such inclusions that the restaurant won Wine Spectator's 'Best of Award of Excellence' in 2001 and 2002, and also enjoyed a prestigious nomination among the finalists for 'Wine List of the Year' during the WGS Awards of Excellence 2002.

Jeremy's Restaurant
& Wine Bar
The sophistication of French aristocrats can be relived at Jeremy's with a wine list that impresses even the most particular palates. Divine exquisiteness depicts the atmosphere in Jeremy's chic interior with a refined wine cellar replete with an exceptional collection of top labels. Founder Jeremy Choo takes a passion in culling wines from Burgundy, Bordeaux, Rhone and the Loire Valleys. Though Jeremy's has had a short history of barely one year, its prominence should not be underrated as its first-rate collection includes a dazzling array of Old and New World wines. Being one of the few places in Singapore that stock specific glassware for Burgundy, Bordeaux, Chardonnay, Riesling, Sauvignon Blanc and Champagne, Jeremy's presents a rare opportunity to experience such fine wine in their proper vessels.
